About the Journal

Bioloka: Nusantara Biology Research Journal is a scientific publication that publishes various research results in the field of biology, focusing on microbiology, zoology, botany, ecology, genetics, morphology, anatomy, histology, biodiversity, conservation, and environment. This journal presents empirical studies and contexts related to the results of biological research, the development of modern biology to overcome biological problems such as treatment using various types of herbal medicines for a healthy body, controlling various types of pollution for a healthy environment, and the development of Genetically Engineered Organisms for food security (Focus and Scope).

This journal is published periodically three times a year (March, July, & November) (Publication Frequency) and is open access to encourage the broad and inclusive dissemination of knowledge (Open Access Policy).

The required documents for authors are an Article Template and a Copyright Transfer Statement. Authors can then submit their manuscripts and declarations through Online Submission. Articles are written in accordance with the Author Guidelines. Manuscripts submitted to this journal will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin. Manuscripts will be accepted if the similarity is less than 25% (Similarity Check). The entire article editing fee for the March 2026 edition is free (Article Processing Charge).

Abdimaloka implements an objective and transparent peer-review process (Peer Reviewer Process) involving competent reviewers in their respective fields (Reviewers). This journal is managed based on the ethical principles of scientific publication in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines (Publication Ethics).
